The 1930 Federal Census enumerated her as head of household on in 1870 Watertown Township, Washington County, Ohio; Horace Waterman, head of household; Lucy Waterman, age 61; Dena Benning, age 18. The 1880 Federal Census enumerated her as head of household in 1880 Muskingum, Washington County, Ohio; Lucy Rice Waterman in household with Cyrenius F. Stacy, male, age 68, farmer, Lucy A Stacy, wife, 62; Lelia F Stacy, 26, daughter, keeping house; Cyrenius Stacy, male, 19, farm laborer; Wilber W. Stacy, male, 14, farm laborer; Annie Van Hoy, white female, 19, servant; Lucy (Rice) Waterman, 72, aunt, widowed. Lucy Waterman died on 27 June 1883 at Muskingum at age 75 had palsey; was living with older sister's (Luceba) son, Cyrenius Stacy and family and was buried at Barlow Cemetery.

     Mary Clockey "was an orphan and reared by her aunt (her mother's sister). I think the Andrew Garrett was her aunt's husband and Andrew Wilson the eldest of sons. They witnessed the marriage of Mary C. because she was only 16 years old. They came to America on their honeymoon. Grandmother told wild tales about the difficult crossing - drifting in the Belt of the Calms, etc. These stories from my half brothers - She died years before I was born." (From Nita Wilson Hinton's aunt, Mollie (Lee) Wilson Drain.) She was born between 1802 and 1804 at Ireland; per marriage at 16, she was born in 1802; per 1820 census, she was born in 1804; per 1850 census, she was born 1802. She married Hugh Wilson Jr., son of Hugh Wilson and Mary Chambers, in 1818 at Anahilt, County Down, Ireland; came to America on their honeymoon; marriage was witnessed by Andrew Garrett (her aunt's husband) and Andrew Wilson, the eldest of sons. They witnessed the marriage of Mary C. because she was only 16 years old.
Hugh was a member of the congregation of Dromara Presbyterian Church of Ireland,Dromore, County Down and Mary was a member of the congregation of Annahilt, County Down, which are about 55 miles apart. Annahilt is a suburb of Belfast, Dromara is about 55 miles south. Mary Clockey died on 24 September 1870 at Warner, Washington County, Ohio.
