Beth Cooper served as volunteer leader in many civic organizations including: Most recently as Board Member/Secretary/Director of Camp Wild with Galveston Bay Area Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists; Adult leader with: Cub Scouts Clearlake TX, Girl Scouts Bowie MD and Baton Rouge LA, Director of Bowiefests for City of Bowie MD, Director of large Girl Scout Camps in Prince George County MD and Baton Rouge LA.
Beth Cooper’s fine arts included: Music Coach and Contralto with regional champion Sweet Adelines chorus and lead with their quartet Elkridge MD; Contralto with Sweet Adelines choruses and lead with their quartet Bowie MD and Baton Rouge LA; Actress with Burn Brae Dinner Theatre Burtonsville MD .
Her education included: Graduate of Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Glynco GA, Completed 2 ½ years of Prince Georges Community College MD, Graduate of Milby High ’55 Houston TX.
She enjoyed: her many pets, Wildlife Rehab, sailing, hang gliding, sky diving, scuba diving, and traveling and living with her family during her husband’s engineering assignments of the United Nations in Israel and of the United States government in Spain and in 26 towns in 9 of the United States: AZ, KS, LA, MD, MS, OR, TX, VA, WA .
